The New Wisconsin Women's Alliance:

Chartered and Incorporated in 1922 as the Wisconsin Federation of  Business and Professional Women, this organization is a multi-generational, bipartisan membership organization located in 16 communities throughout Wisconsin. Our members, partners and supporters are committed to our on-going mission: To promote equity for all women and to develop their potential through advocacy, mentoring, networking, skill building and education.  We have been an active women's organization for 88 years.

During the Winter Development Conference held February 20, 2010 in Fond du Lac, the membership voted to change its name to the Wisconsin Women's Alliance. "Changing our name reflects the change in mission and scope of the organization," says President Keeley Crowley.  "In order to remain an effective organization for today's working women we felt it was necessary to reevaluate the membership benefits we offered."  The Wisconsin Women's Alliance retains many of the core values of the Federation, including the mission of women helping women; with a renewed emphasis on mentoring and professional networking.  The Alliance welcomes all women, without restriction, in a collaborative spirit banding together to support and advocate for each other and women at large.

Members benefit from networking events, political awareness, community involvement, leadership roles, and professional and personal development opportunities.  Now is the time to join the Wisconsin Women's Alliance!
